Pumpkin Painting With A Group
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedThe kids were off of school today (I have no idea why!) so my daughters invited two friends over to paint pumpkins. There were four girls, ages 5-7. They chose the Pumpkin Painting design that they wanted to paint from the Easy Pumpkin Painting E-guide and I sketched the design on each of their pumpkins.
Then they just went to town and proceeded to paint. I was reminded of my favorite thing about Pumpkin Painting. Just before the attention span of a kid goes ’snap,’ their pumpkin masterpiece is usually finished. I’ve painted with several groups of varying sizes over the past few years and just when the kids are about finished, that’s when they ask “can we go play.”
It’s the perfect activity that takes just the right amount of time (less than an hour in most cases), doesn’t require long wait time and gives the kids not only time to play with their friends, but always gives the kids a personally designed masterpiece they can be proud of.
Try Pumpkin Painting with a small group and let me know how it goes.
