In High Fashion! What does that mean anyway? I had a thought this morning about new ways to paint pumpkins.

The cute faces and scary faces are perfect and a joy for kids to see. But what if you’re having a fancy, schmancy Halloween or Autumn cocktail party or other grown-up get-together?

How about painting some mini-pumpkins with fall leaves or stripes or circles in the color scheme of your home or your party theme colors?

I pulled an ad out of the newspaper for some picture frames and they were black frames with orange, green and purple dots and stripes. Perfect Halloween colors. This kind of design would look beautiful and unique painted on pumpkins as part of an autumn-themed tablescape.

My point here is to think way beyond jack-o-lantern faces on pumpkins. Pumpkins are a great canvas for any kind of artwork!
